Elizabeth Anya-Petrivna is a Melbourne-based Senior Curator and Historian at the National Trust of Australia (Victoria). Her work focuses on interiors, domestic life, and nineteenth-century dress and handcraft. She has curated successful exhibitions exploring Australian domestic and dress history. Similarly, she has worked on numerous interpretation projects to present the historic interior as visitor focused and experiential. Elizabeth is also a postgraduate researcher and educator at RMIT’s School of Fashion and Textiles. Her PhD research, Curating the Lost Workshop, examines the history of flower makers in Melbourne. In 2017, she received the Museums Australia Victoria Award for Excellence for her work with the Trust’s fashion and dress collection.
